Project Manager
The project manager will be responsible for project development and supply chain development activity for the European market and nearby geographies. The scope will include:
- Managing engineering projects led by our French office, including client relationship and engineering package delivery
- Managing relationships with local and overseas suppliers to ensure viability of supply chain
- Define strategies for industrialization and mass production of company products
- Support applications for grants and industry tenders
- Support company process development toward more efficient delivery of projects
Ocergy is a small company, and there is opportunity to work closely with other disciplines, in particular engineering.
Candidate
Successful candidate will:
- be well organized and have experienced in leading projects in offshore disciplines
- have extensive experience with the various project managements tools and reporting requirements
- be familiar with general fabrication and offshore installation practices
- be able to work independently and reach conclusion with minimal guidance
- write clear design reports and methodologies
- communicate clearly and effectively in English, in remote working situations
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Qualifications:
- 5 years industry experience minimum
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel-like programs, and project management tools
- Familiarity with offshore wind industry standards for floating structures as well as with general class rules for offshore structures, and experience with design certification
